Roger Williams will offer what it calls fresher, tastier food in the Commons today with the launch of the Eat Local Challenge. Bon Apetit Management Company says it will offer lunch made entirely of locally-grown ingredients. The advantage, they say, is that local food is more flavorful than food shipped from throughout the country. Eating locally also cuts down on non-renewable resources wasted in transporting food. More information will be available in the Commons this afternoon.
Gas prices across Southern New England have increased for the first time in 10 weeks. The US government has recently accused Iran of developing nuclear weapons and helping Shiite militias in Iraq target US troops. Iran has denied the claims.

The injured students remain in stable and serious condition at a Delaware hospital.
