Virginia, Maryland and D.C. have the primaries today. Sen Barack Obama is hoping to pull off a hat trick over Sen. Hillary Clinton. On the Republican side, Mike Huckabee hopes to give McCain a run for his money, showing the American people this race is not over yet.

Despite high profit last year, General Motors has offered to buyout 74,000 workers. This is the company’s entire U.S. work force. The company hopes to start off with initial lay offs in order to increase the amount of savings they have.

A magnitude 6.6 earthquake strikes Mexico this morning. The quake hit near the coast but also swayed buildings in Mexico city.

The Blackberry smart phones are disconnected all across America with no end in sight. The outage started yesterday afternoon and the company is not sure when the outage will end.

U.S. fighter jet intercepts two Russian bombers in the western pacific on Saturday.  The Russian defense ministry says there was no violation of regulation during the incident. This incident is only one of the many that have taken place in Alaska in the past couple of months.
