The State Health Department urging Rhode Islanders to get flu shots. It’s peak season in the Ocean State. Vaccines still available for children and adults.

The House Panel on military spending drafting legislation to pay for combat operations in Iraq and Afghanistan through 2008. A proposal should be in later this month.

And Roger Clemens before a congressional panel Wednesday, denying he ever used steroids. he said his teammate Andy Pettite misheard him after he apparently admitted to steroid use behind closed doors.
