CLOSER TO HOME… THE PAWSOX BEAT THE IRON PIGS TUESDAY, 4-1. THE TEAMS FACE OFF AGAIN TONIGHT.

Iraq is thrust back into the spotlight of U.S. politics today as The three presidential candidates will have the opportunity to question General Patreaus on his stance on the war in Iraq.  When Patraus appears before the Senate committees each Senator will have a chance to question General Patreaus and Ambassador Ryan Crocker.

 

Bob Dylan received a special music citation during the Pulitzer prize ceremony last night. Dylan recognized his impact on American music over the year and gladly accepted his citation.

 

The Olympics are coming to the U.S. today. The torch is being carried across the golden gate bridge today en route to China. This is following the flame being distinguished by protestors in London and Paris. Here in the U.S. protestors have hung flags calling for a free Tibet.

 

Over 7 years later, more remains from the 9/11 attacks have been discover. The remains of one man were discovered in a road that was initially paved over and over 400 other bones have been discovered underneath the road which is known as haul road. 

 

The Roger Williams University Men’s Tennis team won its second straight match yesterday with a 7-2 victory over Wentworth Institute of Technology. 

 

The Woman’s softball team lost it’s first game to UMASS Dartmouth 7-6 but they came back yesterday defeating UMASS with a whooping victory of 9-1. 

 

And now for the weather, it looks like spring is here, it will be Sunny with a high of 53 degrees, some clouds this morning but never fear, they will give away to sunny skies. So enjoy some fun in the Sun!
